Today, Tuesday, May 5, is designated Giving Tuesday to highlight the many needs resulting from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. A global event, people are encouraged to give to charitable organizations that are supporting the emergency needs resulting from the crisis.
Mars Bank is doing its part through direct donations as well as encouraging staff and customer donations and by promoting worthwhile organizations via bank communications and social media. Here are several of the organizations that the bank is supporting and promoting:
- United Way Butler County Emergency Needs Campaign
- Penn-Mar Plaza
- Butler Health System
- Inspired Hearts and Hands
- The Lighthouse Foundation
- Butler Community Health Center
Please consider participating in Giving Tuesday by supporting an organization of your choice which is helping the emergency needs of our communities. While there are many worthwhile causes, this week we’re highlighting the Butler Health System Foundation.
BHS Foundation Donations
The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the U.S. healthcare system and has touched us locally in Butler and the surrounding communities. Our neighbors, family and friends serve on the front lines every day.
The BHS Foundation is raising funds through the “Support Our Heroes” Campaign to assist with needs related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
