Bancorp Elects Board Members

Shareholders of Mars National Bancorp elected three new board members along with seven incumbent directors at the annual meeting held April 18, 2017. The new directors elected were Michael K. Bechtold, Executive VP of Brayman Construction Corporation; Gregory B. Mensch, Executive Engineering Manager of the Naval Nuclear Laboratory, and Steven D. Thompson, Co-Chief Executive Officer of Schneider Downs and Company.
Also at the annual meeting, Dallas C. Hipple and R. Bruce Mensch retired from the board.
Regarding the change in the board, James V. Dionise, President and Chief Executive Officer of Mars Bank said, “We owe a debt of gratitude to Dallas and Bruce who served the Bank for many years, helping the Bank to fulfill its mission meeting the needs of our customers, community, employees and shareholders. We wish them well in retirement.”
Dionise added, “We welcome our newest directors and thank them for their willingness to serve, they add to our already strong board which is helping us continue to prosper in the community banking model.”
