Bancorp Board Elects Officers

Mars National Bancorp elected new board officers to fill the vacated positions of Dallas C. Hipple (retiring as Chairman) and R. Bruce Mensch (retiring as Secretary). Janet L. van Buskirk Balentine, was elected Chairman; she previously served as Vice Chairman. Ms. van Buskirk Balentine has served on the board for 16 years, 11 years as Vice Chairman. Board member J. Jay Thier, who has served on the board for 14 years was elected Vice Chairman. In addition, Michael J. Kirk, Executive Vice President, Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer of the Bancorp was elected Secretary.
